Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr (/qɪv/ /lɪr/ [swift] [clan; kin]) is a subtropical Town located in Sagomeli Parish, Pz-339jnup District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr was founded by Ash Êbrg̈gfë, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr has a yearly average temperature of 18°C (64°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 12°C (53°F). Overview

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1258, by Ash Êbrg̈gfë. The establishment of Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious cobblestone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr's size could have. Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr's well-designed, yet cheep has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Even with that as it is, everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or much of both. The town should be gone, not dying. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable.

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. Cultural Notes

Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament. The style became characterized by an emphasis on volume, asymmetrical compositions, and minimal ornamentation..

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr lost 180 people, 324 livestock, and 63 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 130, when members of Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr's militia enacted an operation to break a siege of a particular port. The operation was complicated by one of the key objectives in the operation requiring sticking to a very strict and short time table. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in victory for Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fìkh Qǐv Lǐr's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
